The Paoli Cardinals team was formed in 1961 and is one of the oldest members of the Chester County League. In recent years the Cardinals have consistently competed for high honors in this highly competitive 14-team league. The 1999 squad won the CCALB Regular Season and Playoff Championships, the Region 3 Championship, and placed 3rd in the State Championship.

The 2003 squad again won the CCALB Regular Season Championship posting a 21-3 league record. The Cards then went on to ‘run the table’ at the Region 3 Tournament winning it with a perfect 5-0 record. After losing a tough initial 3-2 game in the PA State Tournament, the squad battled all the way back to play as a finalist in the tournament championship game. This achievement vaulted them on to the National Regional as one of two Pennsylvania Representatives.
